Developer, Data Engineer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN
. The ideal candidate must have required expertise in AWS Lambda and Glue to design automated integration pipelines and implement robust data processing logic using Python and SQL.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda and Glue.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows leveraging Python, PySpark, and SQL to support data transformation and processing needs.
• Integrate data from diverse sources into cloud‑based repositories while ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to design robust integration patterns and improve pipeline efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing ingestion processes to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Implement best practices for AWS-based development, including security, cost optimization, and workflow automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in data integration or ETL development within cloud environments.
• Strong client-required hands‑on experience with AWS Lambda and Glue for building ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Proven ability to develop data processing solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL to support scalable cloud workflows.
