We are looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer with a strong background in development and client delivery who leads by example and helps guide our team to success. As a small company, our team enjoys a great deal of responsibility, independence, and variety.
- Delegate tasks to and mentor other Salesforce Developers and Consultants.
- Handle support across the full client portfolio independently and without supervision.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, and middleware platforms such as Mule Soft or n8n.
- Lead client and delegation meetings when needed.
- Review team members' code and configurations to ensure standards are met or exceeded.
- Work with clients to design features and develop estimates.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Consultants to design, implement, and maintain solutions at a high standard of quality.
- Design and build declarative solutions (Flows, Lightning Record Pages, Sharing Rules) and programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC, SOQL).
- Apply strong data modeling skills including object relationships, schema design, and process documentation.
- Work with project management tools daily and communicate progress clearly in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development, debug complex problems, and deliver higher-quality solutions faster.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required;
Platform Developer II or additional certifications strongly preferred. - Experience with Agentforce Nonprofit (aka Nonprofit Cloud) and Agentforce Education (aka Education Cloud) is a strong plus.
- Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Education Data Architecture (EDA) is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, solutions-first attitude.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and governor limits.
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Ability to provide examples or references from past Salesforce work.
- Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus.
- Must reside in or plan to relocate to one of the following states:
Indiana, Michigan, New York, Colorado, or Texas.
