As a Senior Engineer on the Digital Delivery team, you will be a leader in the solution planning, delivery and maintenance of the eCommerce experiences that our customers use every day. The Digital Delivery – Commerce team combines the strength of our Customer Data & Loyalty platform with industry‑leading eCommerce core functionality to deliver world‑class web experiences. In this role you will work alongside a talented group of engineers, scrum masters, product managers, designers, and testers in a fast‑paced environment to continuously deliver high‑quality, working software to our users.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Architect, code, and implement solutions that achieve the business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the team regarding site standards and best practices.
  • Research new technologies and industry practices to recommend tools and technology to accomplish team goals.
  • Develop unit and functional test plans, carry out unit test plans, and aid in the use of functional test plans and the verification of test results.
  • Work with third‑party architects, engineers and product developers in troubleshooting and design capacity.
  • Provide direction and assistance to team members, expanding team knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Develop and present sharable materials to provide technical guidance and support to the team around development best practices.
  • Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in developing HTML, SASS/LESS (CSS), and JavaScript.
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • GIT/Git Hub/Bitbucket repository experience.
  • Graph

    QL or REST API development experience.
  • Netlify development experience.
  • React/Next.js/Node/Kotlin development experience.
  • Experience with the Backend For Frontend (BFF) pattern.
  • Experience with Gulp/Webpack.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or similar tag management software.
  • Content Management System integration experience.
  • Experience with UI specifications in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar.
  • JSTL Tag Libraries expertise.
  • Advanced jQuery development.
  • Foundation 6 knowledge.
  • Atlassian Toolset (Jira/Confluence) experience.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides and required development tools.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or an IT‑related field from a four‑year college or university. At least 5–7 years of experience, including 4 years in J2EE or Java or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
