This internship will be located in the Indianapolis, IN office. Software Engineering Interns at First Databank will have the opportunity to gain experience and demonstrate aptitude across a variety of real world projects. Interns typically rotate between three or more projects during their time at FDB, where each project requires skill in a different area.

• Desktop Application Development
• Cloud Infrastructure Automation, AWS and Azure
• Database Development, both RDMS and No
  
  SQL
• Data Science / Business Intelligence
• Trouble Shooting / Bug Fixes / Unit Testing
• AI tooling development
• Design and deploy AI agents and AI‑assisted workflows within production and internal systems

• Computer Science or Software Engineer Major
• Completion of Junior year
• Minimum GPA – 3.4
• At least some experience with AI coding agents

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in Indianapolis, IN. The reasonable estimate, $20 - $22 hourly.
