What You’ll Actually Be Doing
We are seeking a talented, self‑directed, and technically skilled individual on the DET Engineering team. In this role you will design, build, test, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications and web services. You will implement Dev Ops and quality engineering practices, including automated testing, code quality enforcement, and environment management using tools such as Git, Jenkins, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Salesforce APIs.
Your responsibilities include ensuring security best practices, collaborating across teams to streamline workflows, providing technical documentation, and overseeing the full development lifecycle from initial design to production deployment.
- 4–5 years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex triggers, async Apex, and Salesforce Flows, with a strong understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- 2+ years of experience in programming JavaScript and HTML.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce’s SOQL, SOSL, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, and product offerings.
- Experience with database concepts and data modeling.
- 2+ years of strong UI automation experience using Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins.
- 2+ years of experience testing web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
- Related technical degree required.
- Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Platform Developer certifications.
- Experience with Agentforce implementation for AI agent deployments.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Cursor) to enhance development efficiency.
- 2+ years of experience with React.js.
- Experience developing in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
- Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Good understanding of the Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) model and concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
