ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a talented, self‑directed, and technically skilled individual on the DET Engineering team. This role offers an opportunity to make an impact while partnering with Salesforce’s mission‑driven teams. You will apply your strong foundation in Salesforce platform, Java or equivalent languages to design, build, test, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications and web services, implement Dev Ops and quality engineering practices such as automated testing, code quality enforcement, and environment management using tools like Git, Jenkins, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Salesforce APIs.
Additionally, you will ensure security best practices are followed, collaborate across teams to streamline workflows, and provide technical documentation to support continuous improvement in release and operations processes. You will be responsible throughout all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, implementation, testing, to production deployments.
This job requires that you be a self‑starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to interact with team members and deliver fast, reliable code.
Qualifications- 4–5 years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex triggers, Async Apex and Salesforce Flows, including a strong understanding of best practices for performance, scalability, and security.
- 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- 2+ years of experience in programming JavaScript, HTML.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent understanding of 's SOQL and SOSL.
- Excellent understanding of 's Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter and product offerings.
- Experience with database concepts and data modeling capabilities.
- 2+ years of strong UI automation experience using Selenium, TestNG and Jenkins.
- 2+ years of experience in testing Web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
- A related technical degree required.
- Having Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications are preferable.
- Experience with Agentforce implementation for AI agent deployments.
- Leverage AI tools (like Cursor) to enhance development efficiency, improve code quality, and streamline workflows.
- 2+ years of experience with React.js is a significant plus.
- Experience developing in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
- Experience with Test‑driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) process.
- Good understanding of Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) model and concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and multi‑task in a fast‑pace environment.
