Senior Engineering Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with core skills in developing using Java or Golang to join our growing technology consultancy based in Central London. As part of the Daemon Engineering team you will work on exciting, challenging, and rewarding projects with well-known clients, collaborating closely with high-performing teammates.

You are a strong oral and written communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders. You lead by example, are pragmatic and productive, but also creative and motivated to get teams to deliver. You actively engage in the domain community through blogging, events or webinars, and have an entrepreneurial mindset that looks for value‑creating opportunities. You pride yourself on high quality delivery and have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

• Implement REST APIs for interfaces on AWS and Azure.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, support, maintenance, and improvement of new and existing solutions.
• Continuously improve the team’s development processes.
• Develop custom modules and integrate them with third‑party solutions.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud services.
• Share knowledge and experience with the wider team and junior members.
• Communicate effectively with senior non‑technical staff.

• Developing applications in Java or Golang.
• Interfacing web APIs with public cloud platforms.
