Netflix delivers billions of hours of films and television programs each month to more than 230 million viewers worldwide. As part of the Design Experience (EXO) team, you will work on creating a unified, scalable experience across engineering environments that enables engineers to find, use, and maintain tools and services reliably. The team focuses on efficiency, reducing toil, and managing the infrastructure that runs “out of the box” at Netflix, also known as the “bare‑metal” pipeline.

• Lead the design of the front‑end system that serves the entire design community for day‑to‑day usage.
• Reduce engineering toil, time, and manual effort required for improvements across Netflix design.
• Streamline and normalize the asset ownership experience ensuring all design assets have clear owners.
• Make it easier for engineers across the organization to discover tools, applications, and Architecture Diagram services.

• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with GraphQL and building robust APIs used by many designers for clear item surfaces.
• Experience designing and querying large social data sets.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and troubleshooting production issues.
• Experience working with a design platform team serving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with client‑side pagination, reserving, and GraphQL changes.
• Experience with data extraction, aggregation, and reporting from raw events.
• Experience in micro‑service engineering at scale.
• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
