Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12‑week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real‑world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.
Internship Dates: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Internship Details- Duration: 12 weeks, full‑time
- Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
- Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
- Application Window: 11/25/25–12/15/25
- Pay Range: $22–$25/hr
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of payer web applications using Angular or other modern frameworks.
- Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2).
- Assist in building features that enable insurance companies to access Labcorp data, analytics, and services.
- Explore opportunities to apply Gen AI and AI/ML technologies to improve payer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers through the full software development lifecycle.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Engage in code reviews and learn industry best practices for secure healthcare application development.
- Bachelor’s degree candidate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid foundation in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/Type Script, Java, Python, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of data structures (arrays, lists, maps, trees, graphs), algorithms, and object‑oriented design.
- Proactive learner, strong problem‑solving abilities with excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Working knowledge of machine learning fundamentals using Python frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn) and interest in exploring advanced AI techniques including agentic AI, RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation), and fine‑tuning.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
