The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for helping transform internal Trimedx applications into scalable, secure, customer-facing SaaS products. This individual should be someone who not just executes but helps drive the solution with system engineering thinking. Experience with integrations/API skillsets not just front-end web development is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack SaaS applications supporting three major Trimedx platforms. Build and enhance customer-facing web applications, APIs, and backend services that support healthcare operations workflows. Develop scalable microservices and event-driven architectures to support multi-tenant SaaS deployments. Partner closely with Product Management, UX, Data Science, Infrastructure, Security, and Dev Ops teams to deliver new capabilities from concept through production. Familiarity with Greenfield development Familiarity with secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC) for internal and external users.
Build and consume APIs that integrate with enterprise systems, healthcare technologies, and third-party platforms. Contribute to cloud-native architecture decisions focused on scalability, resiliency, observability, and maintainability. Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and Dev Sec Ops best practices. Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience through monitoring, telemetry, and continuous improvement. Participate in architecture reviews and help establish foundational platform capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple healthcare operations products.

- Front-End React, Type Script, Java Script
- Modern web frameworks and component libraries

- State management and front-end testing frameworks
- Claude Code (or similar) for AI first development
- Back-End .NET/C# (preferred) or equivalent enterprise backend technologies
- RESTful API design and development
- Microservices architecture
- API security and authentication standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT)
- Azure APIM
- Cloud & Platform Engineering Microsoft Azure (our web stack)
- Azure App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus/Event Grid
- Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Cloud-native application design patterns
- Data SQL Server and relational database design
- Data modeling and optimization
- Familiarity with Snowflake
- Experience working with analytical data platforms and APIs
- Understanding of event-driven and data integration architectures
- Dev Ops & Security Git and modern source control practices
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops preferred)
- Automated testing and quality engineering
- Application monitoring and observability
- Secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)
- Dev Sec Ops principles
- Experience building external customer-facing SaaS products.
- Experience implementing multi-tenant application architectures.
- Healthcare, healthcare technology, asset management, or operational workflow experience.
- Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications and API integrations.
- Familiarity with enterprise identity and access management solutions.
- Experience working in Agile product teams and cross-functional environments.
