Old Capital Country Club is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join its golf course maintenance team.
The Assistant Superintendent will assist in the daily maintenance and care of the golf course, working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure high standards of turf quality and course conditions
Responsibilities- Assisting with daily course maintenance operations
- Supervising and training maintenance staff
- Equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Irrigation system monitoring and repair
- Chemical and fertilizer applications
- Ensuring course set-up and playability standards
- Prior golf course maintenance experience preferred
- Turfgrass education or related experience a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
