We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our operations team. In this essential behind‑the‑scenes role, you’ll coordinate driver schedules, oversee real‑time fleet activity, and act as a key communication link between drivers and internal teams—ensuring every ride is completed smoothly, safely, and on time.
What You’ll Do As a Transportation Dispatcher- Assign drivers based on availability, location, and real‑time service demand
- Monitor fleet activity and proactively address issues to maintain on‑time performance
- Communicate trip details, updates, and routing adjustments to drivers
- Maintain accurate records of driver assignments and dispatch operations
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to support efficiency and consistency
- Respond quickly and professionally to last‑minute changes, delays, or service disruptions
- Experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics, or fleet coordination (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with dispatch or routing software (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license
