Commissary Driver

Upland Brewing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to be based out of our Commissary Kitchen. The position will be primarily responsible for delivering inventory to all Upland locations in Bloomington, Indianapolis, Carmel, Columbus, and Jeffersonville Indiana. Additional responsibilities will include transporting materials between locations, related deliveries, receiving materials and other logistics duties. This role will report to the Fountain Square Location.

This employee will work in consultation with management to define, set and achieve procedural goals. Applicants must be able to lift 75 + lbs. repeatedly throughout a working shift (5-8 hrs.). Must also possess a valid State of Indiana driver's license and have a good driving record.

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday but may occasionally require some weekend/holiday hours (with prior notice).

• Deliver commissary orders from the production commissary kitchen in Fountain Square to 82nd St, Bloomington, Carmel, Clay Terrace, College Ave, Columbus, and Jeffersonville Upland Locations.
• Upland locations could change in the future with addition/subtraction of restaurants & tasting rooms.
• Delivery of merchandise and beer from our pilot brewery may also be required.
• Safely drive a sprinter van 6-8 hours a day in heavy traffic, inclement weather and on narrow roads.
• Additional duties as assigned by General Manager and Chef dependent on skills.

• Able to repeatedly lift 75 + pounds.
• Ability to safely drive a large sprinter van.
• Able to take directions from management to accomplish assorted tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently without supervision while maintaining quality work.
• Able to work a physically demanding job for 8+ hours a day in all weather conditions.
• Able to remain calm and solve problems when met with adversity.
• Extremely organized, able to multitask and move quickly and efficiently through duties.
