Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 6 months OTR tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years
• Good MVR (reviewed case by case)
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years or while holding a CDL

Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Pneumatic experience preferred
• Must be 21 years or older
• 1 year of verifiable driving experience OR accredited driving school + experience
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test
• Clean Background Check and Drug Test required
• For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation.

Looking for an exciting driving opportunity in the western region of America? System Transport is hiring experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes. As a driver, you will be transporting important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.

Financial Package

• Weekly Pay: $1,095.18 – $1,980.65 per week (depending on experience, routes, regular attendance, and length of service)
• Annual Pay: $56,949.36 – $ per year (depending on experience, routes, regular attendance, and length of service)
• Full pay package includes accessorial compensation (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, over‑dimension, etc.)
• Flatbed Regional Driver Rate: $0.57–$0.71 per mile
• Transition Package: $1,800 (including $1,000 for first 2 weeks orientation)

Compensation

• Pay: $0.59–$0.66 per mile (depending on experience and bonus included)
• Average annual earnings: $89,200 (for weekly drivers)
• Stop pay and detention pay $200
• Paid orientation, 10¢ per diem, no admin fees, tenure bonus
• Home time:
  Regional – 5.5 days out, varied schedule
• Consistent year‑round freight, average 2,700 miles weekly
