POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑conscious Over‑the‑Road (OTR) Truck Driver based out of Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will haul freight across a regional corridor spanning Indianapolis, IN;
Zanesville, OH; and St. Joseph, MO. This role requires extended time away from home and demands a professional who takes pride in on‑time delivery, cargo integrity, and compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate a Class A tractor‑trailer safely and efficiently across assigned routes including Charlotte, NC;
    Indianapolis, IN;
    Zanesville, OH; and St. Joseph, MO.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
  • Load, secure, and unload freight as needed; verify shipment contents against bills of lading.
  • Maintain consistent communication with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery confirmations.
  • Adhere strictly to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations to ensure driver and public safety.
  • Perform basic roadside maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Represent the company professionally at all customer and shipper/receiver locations.
  • Keep the cab and trailer clean, organized, and in compliance with DOT standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean MVR.
  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable OTR or long‑haul CDL driving experience.
  • Current DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain one prior to start).
  • Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and standard fleet technology.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations, HOS rules, and FMCSA requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate a 53’ dry van or flatbed trailer (specify as applicable).
  • Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
PAY

60 per mile / $24 per hour.
