Job SummaryDrexel Interiors is seeking a reliable and dedicated CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of our flooring and cabinetry products to job sites, customers, and occasionally out-of-state locations.
Responsibilities- Safely load, transport, and unload products, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Verify accuracy of orders against delivery documents before departing and upon arrival at destinations.
- Conduct occasional out-of-state deliveries as scheduled, adhering to all relevant regulations and schedules.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the delivery truck is clean and well-maintained.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
- Communicate any delivery challenges, delays, or mechanical issues promptly to the logistics team.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 lbs.) consistently.
- Previous Experience In Delivery Driving Or Logistics Preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with the Indianapolis area and regional routes is a plus.
