SR Terminal Manager

This role is based in Indianapolis, IN and supports day‑to‑day terminal operations in a rail and yard environment. The facility plays a key role in supporting customer supply chains through efficient movement of freight, equipment, and inventory.

• Oversee daily terminal operations, including yard management, rail operations, and equipment flow.
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of loading, unloading, and movement of freight.
• Lead and develop terminal staff, including scheduling, performance management, and policy enforcement.
• Drive safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, service levels, and cost.
• Manage terminal budgets, including labor, equipment, and operational expenses.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and issue resolution.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, safety, and overall terminal performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, terminal, rail, or operations management.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong understanding of transportation, yard management, and terminal operations.
• Experience with TMS/WMS systems and operational reporting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a dynamic environment.
