Driver - CDL (ClassA) Overview
This role requires a driver of any truck (manual transmission) and trailer with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds to pick up, deliver, and unload company pipe and equipment. The driver is the first point of customer service and must maintain good relations with customers while positively representing the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Loads, secures, and unloads materials and equipment for scheduled delivery to customers or other branches.
- Assists field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, hoses, fittings, and filtration systems according to job specifications.
- Completes job‑site analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
- Interacts with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required.
- Maintains accurate written records and work orders of all deliveries and pick‑ups.
- Maintains Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). logs per state and federal regulations.
- Complies with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations and requirements.
- Performs required pre‑ and post‑trip truck inspections and reports any needed maintenance or repair to Branch Foreman in writing.
- Assists in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as requested.
- Completes paperwork in a timely, complete, and acceptable manner, including rental orders, inspection forms, service job records, drivers log, and Empower Time.
- Performs minor emergency roadside repairs.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler.
- Able to read a map, plan routes, and calculate distances.
- Demonstrates ethical stewardship, results orientation, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and functional expertise.
- Valid Class A driver’s license.
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card.
- Other industry‑related certifications may be required.
- Winch truck experience.
- Experience with roll‑offs and frac tanks.
