Job Description
Qualified drivers are needed to deliver pizzas and support store operations in designated delivery areas. The role offers a flexible schedule, potential growth opportunities, and the possibility to work as a full‑time or part‑time employee.
QualificationsYou must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. You must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery and be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

- Navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings and private homes.
- Deliver product by car to the customer’s door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Stand for most tasks. Walk from the store to the delivery vehicle and to the customer’s location.
- Walk short distances for short durations. Sit for paperwork at a desk.
- Lift bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds. Unload with a hand truck; stack onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Carry large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs each) over short distances.
- Push or pull trays on dollies up to 30 inches, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Climb stairs or ladders to perform maintenance; navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
- Stooping/bending at the waist for 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously during the day.
- Crouch or squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reach up to 72 inches for oven controls, sign changes, and shelving; reach down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; reach forward for ingredients and phone tasks.
- Drive within the designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift.
- Use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F and above in some areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature while inside or outside.
- Exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
