As a Night Dispatcher at TCI, you are the command center for overnight operations—ensuring deliveries stay on track, drivers stay safe, and customers stay satisfied. You’ll make real-time decisions that directly impact performance, profitability, and service.

What You’ll Own- Operations & On-Time Performance:
Oversee assigned regions to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence. Monitor loads, routes, and driver activity to keep operations running smoothly. Book hotels and support drivers with overnight logistics. - Communication & Coordination:
Work closely with Driver Managers, Transportation Managers, and customers. Maintain strong communication across all levels—from drivers to executive leadership. Act as a key point of contact for overnight operations and issue resolution. - Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures. Monitor and enforce DOT, FMCSA, and local regulations. Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all operations. - Technology & Performance Tracking:
Utilize and promote TCI systems including Samsara (Drive Cam & ELD), McLeod (load management & billing readiness), Tenstreet (driver recruiting tools), Customer portals. Ensure loads are updated in real time to support accurate billing and reporting. - Customer Success & Continuous Improvement:
Help meet or exceed customer performance targets. Identify opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and service quality.
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently overnight.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with technology, systems, and digital tools (Office 365, dispatch software, etc.).
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and integrity.
- Ability to respond to calls, texts, and emails, including occasional emergencies.
- You stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- You think ahead—not just react.
