Holman Powertrain has a great opportunity for a Driver to join our team in Indianapolis, IN!

Starting pay: $22 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday shift starting at 6am

What will you do?

Work as a truck driver, delivering new and collecting used auto parts as needed.
Be certified medically by a certified DOT medical examiner in regards to fitness.
Operate vehicle in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customers.
Drive to customer locations and unload and reload truck; loading is performed with a pallet jack or hand truck.
Unload vehicle and stack returned product to facilitate warehouse efficiency.
Lift up to 70 lbs. without assistance and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Drive vehicles 26,000 GVW.
Use scanner/print pad to scan/log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returns.
Check‑in finished goods before loading vehicle.
Work within weather related extremes.
Perform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to supervisor.
Be willing to have overnight stays if required by route.
Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Prior warehouse driver experience.
Be able to drive up to non‑CDL 26’ box trucks.
Pass a DOT application process and physical.
Basic computer skills.

Pay

Competitive wages commensurate with job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $20.00 - $26.10 USD per hour.
