Job Summary:
Unload trucks, serve as back-up driver, system transactions, delivery of product, and storage of inventory items.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Unloads trucks, counts all receipts (from both external and internal sources), and enters all receipts into ERP system.
- External receipts are moved to incoming Quality Inspection or delivered to requisitioner.
- Serve as back-up driver and make deliveries/pick up production materials within a 3-hour radius (approx.).
- Responsible for marking and storing all materials in designated areas.
- Issue materials for work orders, cycle count inventory and perform transactions for return issues.
- Responsible for physical inventory accuracy of assigned areas.
- Maintain files for material certifications.
- Cutting orders at the saw.
- Writing up returns at the saw.
- May enter purchase order for outsource product.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- OCCASIONAL DUTIES:
Other pick-up and delivery for other areas of business on an as needed basis. Other duties as assigned. - Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
Education:
Minimum High School or GED
Experience:
3-6 years;
Previous manufacturing experience required. Previous receiving, inventory and delivery experience preferred. Attention to detail and high transactional accuracy required. Good driving record, valid driver's license, and ability to pass the DOT Health Exam and be covered under Paragon's insurance are all required.
KSA's:
Forklift license. Caliper & micrometer knowledge preferred. Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision. Ability to operate a saw.
