Overview
Shaffer Trucking offers home weekends with the Mid-South Region fleet.
Compensation and Qualifications- Salary: Top 50% average $79,390 per year
- CPM: Starting pay $0.60 to $0.63 per mile
- Experience: One-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience with a class A CDL
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours, deliveries, and other required logs.
- Adhere to dispatch instructions, schedules, and customer service expectations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and drivers to resolve issues and optimize routes.
