What You'll Do as a Transportation Coordinator:
Transportation & Fleet Coordination

Assign and coordinate passenger trips to drivers to ensure efficient service delivery
Monitor daily transportation activity and make real-time adjustments as needed
Communicate trip assignments, schedule updates, and operational information to drivers
Help maintain on-time pickups and drop-offs while meeting company service standards
Respond promptly to service changes, driver requests, and customer needs
Support efficient fleet utilization and operational performance

Driver & Customer Support

Serve as a central communication point between drivers, passengers, and management
Provide drivers with trip details, route support, and operational assistance
Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
Assist in resolving service concerns and transportation-related issues
Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely follow-up

Administrative & Operational Support

Maintain accurate transportation records, trip details, and operational documentation
Monitor service performance and daily activity reports
Assist with reporting, data entry, and operational tracking
Work closely with management and team members to support daily operational goals
Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications of a Transportation Coordinator:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience in transportation, dispatching, scheduling, logistics, customer service, call center operations, or a related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with transportation management systems, routing software, or fleet operations is a plus
