Truck Loader

Location:

Ligonier Indiana

Shift: 6pm-6am rotating shifts. Must train on days for a few weeks.

Pay starts  per hour with an increase to 19.00 per hour after successful completion of training.

• Load and seal outbound trailers with finished product
• Load and seal inbound and outbound railcars
• Load Midds trailers and complete all required shipping paperwork
• Load trucks to maximum legal weight requirements
• Assist the Shift Miller with daily operations as needed
• Support packing operations when required
• Complete assigned cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks including weekly mezzanine cleaning
• Help maintain equipment and company property in good condition
• Follow shipping schedules to ensure on time deliveries
• Identify and suggest improvements to facility operations and systems
• Observe and report any unusual site security activity
• Check diesel fuel levels in the track mobile and yard tractor at the end of each shift

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends when needed
• Ability to climb stairs and get on and off bulk trailers throughout the shift
• Ability to perform general cleaning and basic maintenance tasks
• Ability to lift and handle bags weighing up to 50 pounds
• Dependable work ethic with strong attention to safety and quality
