In this critical role, you'll help oversee daily fleet activities, coordinate vehicle availability, support drivers, and ensure transportation services operate efficiently and reliably.

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
What You'll Do as a Fleet Coordinator:Fleet Operations & Vehicle Coordination
- Coordinate daily vehicle assignments to meet operational and service requirements
- Monitor fleet availability and ensure vehicles are properly allocated to support transportation needs
- Assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Track vehicle status, utilization, and operational readiness
- Help maximize fleet efficiency while minimizing downtime
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers regarding vehicle assignments and operational updates
- Provide drivers with timely information regarding fleet availability and service requirements
- Respond to driver questions and support requests promptly and professionally
- Assist in resolving vehicle-related concerns and operational challenges
- Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and support teams to maintain efficient operations
- Monitor daily fleet activity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Assist with service requests, scheduling adjustments, and operational coordination
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle assignments, inspections, maintenance activities, and fleet performance
- Support company goals by helping ensure reliable and dependable transportation services
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness
- Complete data entry and maintain accurate fleet documentation
- Generate and review fleet utilization and performance reports
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules, service history, and operational metrics
- Assist management with planning, reporting, and resource allocation
- Recommend improvements that support fleet reliability, safety, and efficiency
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in fleet coordination, transportation, logistics, dispatching, scheduling, operations, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with fleet management systems, GPS tracking platforms, routing software, or transportation management systems is a plus
