Performs all tasks within the warehouse, including timely loading and unloading of pickups and receipts, processing outbound sales orders and transfer shipments, as well as processing of returned merchandise authorizations (RMAs). Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Performs all work in a safe manner, remaining constantly aware of continuous improvement opportunities for safety-related improvements.
- Loads and unloads material in warehouses and storage facilities.
- Receives materials and verifies against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Picks shipments, palletizes and packages according to procedures.
- Processes shipping and receiving paperwork; records materials transferred/received.
- Moves delivered goods and materials to the appropriate location in the warehouse.
- Organizes stored inventory.
- Looks up material quantities using a computerized inventory system.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Three years of forklift experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least three years of experience in warehouse/distribution using an RF scan system.
