DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Safely move ducks following all Duck Well-Being, Care, and Handling Guidelines (training and certification provided).
Assist with unloading market-age duck trailers and properly handling fatigued birds using totes or carts.
Transfer ducks from barns to the round room and from the round room to the belt.
Wash and disinfect Market Age Duck trucks and trailers promptly and thoroughly.
Report equipment issues, air quality concerns, or safety hazards immediately to the Supervisor or Lead.
Support the Holding House Manager by identifying and helping correct issues involving efficiency, quality, or safety.
Maintain excellent facility cleanliness and perform routine housekeeping.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking ForAbility to read and understand written instructions in English (bilingual candidates encouraged to apply).
Previous poultry or agricultural experience is a strong plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely handle live poultry up to 10 lbs.
Comfortable with bending, twisting, and moderate ladder climbing.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others at all levels.
Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred.
Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
