This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leader who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. This position is responsible for leading a team of approximately 15 hourly employees while coordinating daily warehouse and material flow activities to support production operations.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time on the production floor providing leadership, removing obstacles, ensuring materials are flowing efficiently, and supporting a safe and productive work environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines employee supervision with warehouse operations, inventory coordination, and cross‑functional communication.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervise approximately 15 hourly employees in a warehouse and material operations environment.
  • Coordinate daily material flow to support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory movement and material availability using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Prioritize work assignments to meet changing production requirements.
  • Expedite raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods through multiple work centers.
  • Support warehouse operations including material movement, kitting, packaging, light assembly, and order preparation.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, Logistics, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance.
  • Conduct employee coaching, performance discussions, and corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Track production metrics, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Ensure quality standards and company procedures are consistently followed.
  • Assist in training and developing employees.
Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading or supervising employees in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working with inventory systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Comfortable working primarily on the warehouse floor while balancing administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP software.
  • APICS CPIM certification.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environments.
