Compensation and Shift Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Pay range: $19.70/hour – $22.10/hour (after 90 days probation)
  • Shift days:
    Monday–Friday
  • Shift time: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Shift differential: $1.00 additional for hours 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Freezer differential: $3.00 additional for work in temperature‑controlled environments (dry, cooler, freezer)

Primary Responsibilities

The Associate, Warehouse Operations plays a vital role in receiving, preparing, and shipping shipments. Responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment, managing inventory, and performing tasks such as receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping—all with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain attendance in accordance with company policies
  • Uphold safe work practices in the warehouse, prioritizing the well‑being of yourself and your team
  • Safeguard confidential company information
  • Match product descriptions with label descriptions accurately
  • Build pallets within the warehouse to meet customer guidelines
  • Maintain production standards while minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency
  • Take on other warehouse duties and special projects as requested
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, day shifts, and overnight schedules
  • At least one year of experience in food distribution or a warehouse environment preferred
  • At least one year of experience operating powered warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers)
  • Strong communication skills with internal customers and management, fostering collaboration
  • Ability to follow safe warehouse working practices as instructed and support a culture of safety
  • Ability to work efficiently independently while maintaining a commitment to team success
  • Preferred experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) and other systems to track performance
Physical Requirements

The associate must be able to lift, move, and carry 30–40 pounds repetitively up to 1,000 times per day, and larger items up to 75 pounds less frequently. The role requires standing, walking, climbing, and sitting k environments may include temperatures ranging from very cool to very warm, including freezer temperatures of about –10 °F and refrigerator temperatures of 25–35 °F. Noise levels are typically low to moderate, and the associate may encounter outside weather conditions.
