Inventory Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily inventory control activities and warehouse inventory personnel.
  • Ensure accurate inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
  • Monitor inventory movement and maintain inventory integrity throughout the facility.
  • Assign and prioritize daily work activities to meet operational objectives.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, operations, customer service, and other internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and operational procedures.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory software to support operations.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related leadership role.
  • Experience supervising or leading warehouse personnel.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management processes and cycle counting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse systems.
Preferred
  • Experience using SAP, WMS, or other inventory management software.
  • Forklift operation experience or certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.
