Desco Floor Systems ("Desco", or "the Company") is a faced paced commercial and industrial-focused seamless flooring installation contractor with more than 30 years in the business. Desco is seeking a Warehouse Associate to work with the team to manage the warehouse, conduct forklift operations, and manage inventory. As Desco continues to grow, this role will be instrumental in ensuring efficiency and accountability as Desco continues to build the highest quality commercial/industrial install group in the United States.
Primary Responsibilities:- Receive product and equipment using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
- Verify raw material condition and log into inventory in ERP system in accordance with established processes
- Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory quantities
- Stock raw materials and equipment in accordance with Warehouse Supervisor instructions and standard operating procedures
- Prepare outbound raw material and equipment for transport to installation sites, verifying correct packing list for accuracy
- Communicate out-of-stocks and work with Warehouse Supervisor to replenish stock as necessary
- Work in ERP to otherwise understand existing and desired stock rates, as well as shortages and surplus
- Track, log, and assist with maintaining asset inventory
- Maintain order, structure, and cleanliness throughout the warehouse
- Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization
- Ensure a safe and organized environment
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of three years previous experience in related warehouse field / supply chain
- Valid driver's license
- Experience operating a forklift, with ability to immediately obtain forklift operator license
- Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum
- Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, and crawling
- OSHA Training preferred
- Strong attention to detail
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift.
- Day shift, Monday thru Friday.
