Responsibility

The Stockroom Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, securing, and distributing inventory and supplies within the stock cage. This position ensures that products and materials are properly stored, accurately accounted for, and readily available to employees or departments when needed.

Support the Corporate Governance Policy of Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive and the Objectives of:
  • Meeting challenges of changed legal and business environment.
  • Enhancing the trust of ATA among customers, associates, and society.
  • Implementing activities to improve ATA business operations using a strategy of Steady Compliance.

Purchasing and Logistics Manager

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous stockroom, warehouse, inventory, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or purchasing systems.
  • Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, labels, and other shipping documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately count and track inventory.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact professionally with employees, departments, vendors, and delivery personnel.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Service
  • Ensure incoming material have the appropriate MSDS label and paperwork where necessary,
  • Ensure equipment, MRO parts, supplies and tools distributed to associates are logged in Plex and accounted for.
  • Work with Purchasing and Accounting to reconcile any material receipts/returns issues
  • Store stock in bins, and or shelves, according to identifying information, such as parts class, group any type codes.
  • Performs physical, periodic and cycle counts of stockrooms parts when necessary.
  • Support ISO-9001 & ISO-14001 requirements.
  • Dependability & Accountability– Consistently completes assigned duties accurately and on time.
  • Attention to Detail– Accurately verifies shipments, quantities, documentation, and inventory.
  • Organization– Maintains a clean, orderly, and secure stock cage.
  • Inventory Accuracy– Properly tracks, records, and distributes non-production materials.
  • Communication– Communicates clearly with employees, departments, vendors, and delivery personnel.
  • Internal Customer Service– Responds promptly and professionally to requests for supplies and materials.
  • Safety Awareness– Follows facility safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
  • Teamwork– Works effectively with other departments to support facility operations.
  • Problem Solving– Identifies and appropriately addresses shortages, discrepancies, damaged shipments, and other routine issues.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12) hours.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move boxes, supplies, and containers safely.
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment when authorized.
  • Automotive production facility with robotic automation
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial conditions
  • PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots)

All other duties assigned by Purchasing and Logistics Manager
