Responsibilities
As a Project Accountant, your key responsibility will be to serve as a vital team member associated with accurately and consistently completing the accounting functions for the assigned project.
* Process Owner billings timely and accurately each month
* Work with Project Managers to ensure owner billings are prepared per contract requirements, and all associated schedules are completed, while maintaining job cost estimates and change orders in the system.
* Review and process vendor invoices and subcontractor AIA billings.
* Manage Subcontractor contracts, billings, and required documents.
* Manage approval process and project cash flow for weekly check runs.
* Manage time effectively to ensure completion of all duties and tasks assigned.
* Ensure that deadlines are met in accordance with closings.

What it Takes
* Minimum 3 years' experience in construction accounting is preferred.
* Knowledge of AIA Documents.
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with Lien waivers, sworn statements, and XBE reporting.
* Experience using a Job Cost ERP System is a plus. Viewpoint is preferred.
* High level of organization and attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.
