Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) team. This unique opportunity offers the stability of full-time employment with the variety of project-based work supporting top companies throughout the Indianapolis market.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist on our FTEP team, you will:

+ Process high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency

+ Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt)

+ Manage vendor setup, maintenance, and relations

+ Prepare and process weekly check runs, wires, and ACH payments

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

+ Assist with month-end close activities and accruals

+ Support process improvements and clean-up projects as needed

Requirements

What We're Looking For

+ 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

+ Experience working in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Dynamics, etc.)

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

+ Proven ability to adapt quickly in new environments

+ Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables a plus)
