Senior Accountant – Construction Industry (Indianapolis, IN)

Salary: $70,000–$82,000

• Manage job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and project financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Partner with project managers to track budgets, costs, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• Assist with audits, tax preparation support, and process improvements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, construction industry strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and percentage‑of‑completion accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or similar)
