Key Responsibilities for the Construction Accountant:


• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across construction projects

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections

• Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments

• Coordinate annual audits and provide required supporting documentation

• Analyze project costs and identify savings and process improvement opportunities

• Utilize Sage Intacct for financial management, reporting, and analysis

Qualifications for the Construction Accountant:


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; construction experience strongly preferred

• Experience with Sage Intacct highly desired

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• CPA or similar certification a plus
