Location:
Indianapolis, IN (Keystone Crossing area)
Schedule:
Hybrid (in-office daily except Wednesdays + half-day Fridays in the summer)
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
Bonus: ~15% based on KPIs
About the Opportunity
A growing real estate organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple projects. This is a high-visibility role with exposure to project-level financials, month-end close, and overall portfolio performance.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is driven, detail-oriented, and looking to grow within a performance-driven environment that values accountability and long-term development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger for assigned projects/entities
- Lead and support the month-end close process
- Review and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
- Assist with audit and tax support
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Partner with internal teams to support project performance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with in property management or real estate
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Stable work history
- Experience with Yardi
- Strong technical aptitude and systems experience
- Ideal Candidate Profile
- Professional, accountable, and holds themselves to a high standard
- Strong work ethic and willing to go above and beyond when needed (especially during month-end)
- Comfortable in a performance-driven environment
- Strong communicator and team player
