This is a hands-on leadership role supporting a high-volume accounting environment. The company is seeking someone who can manage people, stay close to the details, support month-end close, maintain controls, and help improve processes as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee AP, AR, and GL accounting functions
* Manage accounting staff and team leads
* Monitor deadlines and team performance
* Support month-end and year-end close
* Analyze variances and reporting trends
* Maintain internal controls and procedures
* Support process improvement initiatives
* Assist with future ERP/system projects
* Help train, coach, and develop staff
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Prior supervisory/management experience
* Strong GL and month-end close experience
* Understanding of AP, AR, and accounting operations
* Advanced Excel skills
* Public accounting experience is a plus
