Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract - 2 to 3 Months)

A growing construction company on the northwest side of Indianapolis is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support its accounting team during a short-term project. This role is ideal for an experienced A/R professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing high-volume transactions while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
+ Generate and distribute customer invoices and billing statements
+ Process and post customer payments accurately and timely
+ Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies
+ Process and maintain customer finance applications
+ Communicate with customers regarding payment status, billing questions, and account activity
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation within the accounting system
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing

Requirements
Qualifications
+ 2+ years of recent high-volume Accounts Receivable experience
+
Experience with customer billing, payment posting, and account reconciliations
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
+ Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
+ Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and reliability
+ Construction industry experience is a plus
