Prepare and review consolidation of Steak n Shake Inc. financial statements and related schedules for external quarterly reporting;
Prepare, review and report on schedules supporting external quarterly reporting including cash flows and lease disclosures;
Prepare and review the annual stand-alone Company financial statement filing used in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD);
Serve as key contact to external auditors for quarterly reviews, annual audits, and stand-alone reporting used in the FDD;
Ensure internal controls within corporate accounting are designed and operating effectively to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley;
Lead a team of three corporate accounting positions supporting asset management, leases and rent, marketing, and financial reporting;
Assist with leveraging AI to improve processes and provide deeper analysis beyond core accounting tasks
