Duties
Provides professional accounting advice and assistance to supported organizations regarding the operational accounting functions.
Reviews and analyzes operating programs, practices, and procedures related to receiving, controlling, validating, recording, and reporting accounting transactions.
Assists in establishing and monitoring internal controls to identify problem areas.
Coordinates with budget personnel regarding actions required to identify, track, research, liquidate/cancel unliquidated balances.
Responds to questions from customers and subordinates regarding accounting data discrepancies.
