Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Perform heavy balance sheet and subledger reconciliations
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
Develop, mentor, and support lower-level accounting staff
Assist with organizational tax preparation and regulatory filings
Support general ledger oversight and financial reporting services
Handle special projects and ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP; nonprofit accounting experience a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities
