VP, Corporate Controller

Sares-Regis Group seeks a VP, Corporate Controller to lead enterprise-wide accounting and financial reporting for its multifamily and industrial real estate portfolio. This executive will oversee the general ledger, consolidations, audits, and internal controls, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely, accurate reporting for stakeholders and lenders. Partnering with senior leadership, the VP provides strategic financial insight, supports budgeting and forecasting, and drives process and systems improvements.

The role leads and mentors a high-performing accounting team, fostering integrity, collaboration, and accountability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all corporate accounting and financial reporting activities for the real estate portfolio
• Ensure accurate, timely GAAP-compliant financial statements and consolidations
• Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance with lenders and regulatory requirements
• Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
• Drive process, policy, and system improvements across accounting functions
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and reporting team
• Coordinate with asset management, development, and property management teams on financial matters
