Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval workflows
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain vendor records
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and other payment processing activities
• Support month-end close procedures and reporting requirements
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
