This position will serve as a part-time Intern with the Indiana Office of the Clerk of the Appellate Courts. This position provides support to the Clerk's Office through a broad variety of programmatic functions that assist the office in completing daily tasks as well as large initiatives.
A Day in the Life:
- Review reports, including those that determine what cases are fully briefed
- Examine cases to ensure compliance with Court Orders
- Read incoming correspondence from self-represented litigants and citizens, and draft professional responses
- Request transcripts for civil cases that are ready to be transmitted to the court on appeal
- Organizes and maintains court records
- Other duties as assigned by Clerk or Office Administrators

Learn and adapt to new technologies within the Microsoft Suite as well as Supreme Court systems
