Location:

Indianapolis, IN 46204 Duration: 5-6 MONTHS possible extension

Schedule:

Onsite | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours/week

Work Hours:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch) Pay Rate: $23.50/hour Interview:
In-Person Only

Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant I to support daily administrative operations. This role focuses on report processing, accurate data entry, document management, and maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with team members in a fast-paced government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, compile, review, and maintain reports with a high level of accuracy.
  • Enter, update, and verify data in internal systems and databases.
  • Review data for completeness and resolve discrepancies when necessary.
  • Organize and maintain electronic documents and filing systems for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure data accuracy through regular quality checks and audits.
  • Support administrative tasks and maintain organized records.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience verifying and validating data for accuracy.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience processing, compiling, and reviewing reports.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing and organizing documents within a database or electronic filing system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and systems.
