DescriptionJob Function:
General coordination of the administrative requirements of selected championships and assistance with the administration of other sport committees as needed; as well as project/core service duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer duties for assigned championships and sport committees, including updating various membership, committee and host manuals, and preparing and disseminating communications to committee members, hosts, membership, and the general public.
- Act as liaison for Short's Travel for committee meetings and championships.
- Support championship manager for assigned sports, including all championship selections.
- Assist with the preparation of various meetings (selections, committee meetings, staff meetings), preparing agendas, meeting materials, including Power Points, research and other specific information.
- Assist with posting of documentation and information on the NCAA.org website.
- Administer departmental duties and responsibilities, including assistance to membership and general public pertaining to assigned championships, correspondence to internal and external contacts, and file maintenance and task assignments in SharePoint.
- Correspond (writing, telephone, video conference) with administrators, coaches, student-athletes, officials, parents and the general public regarding various topics related to the NCAA and NCAA championships.
- Serve as the department's point person for various vendor relationships and related processes with internal staff, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Project management experience. Ability to create complex documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint from concept to final production.
- Excellent data management skills.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint.
- Excellent office skills, including accurate typing, word processing experience and ability to operate various office equipment.
- Excellent communication skills/etiquette.

Travel Required:
None - This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 2 days in the office and 3 days are remote.
