Service Porter

P4 Automotive in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a dependable Service Porter to support our busy automotive shop. In this role, you will move and park customer vehicles, maintain a clean and organized shop and lot, and assist technicians by staging vehicles for service. You'll greet customers, perform basic vehicle checks, and ensure a smooth flow of cars through the service process.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn more about automotive repair while contributing to a collaborative, customer-first team.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles on the lot and in the shop
• Maintain a clean, organized service drive, shop, and parking areas
• Perform basic vehicle checks such as fuel level and visual condition
• Assist technicians by staging vehicles for service and test drives
• Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate service staff
• Monitor lot flow to ensure efficient vehicle placement and retrieval
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies at all times
• Support parts and service teams with light errands or deliveries
• Report any vehicle damage or safety concerns immediately
• Contribute to a positive, customer-first team environment
