Employee Benefits Account Manager II
NFP, an Aon company, is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager II to join its growing Indianapolis benefits practice. This role serves as a critical partner to Consultants and Producers, helping manage a sophisticated portfolio of employer clients while acting as the primary day-to-day contact for many client relationships. The Account Manager II is responsible for the execution of key client deliverables, renewal and marketing activities, implementation projects, vendor coordination, and ongoing service needs, ensuring clients receive proactive, high-quality support throughout the year.
Ideal candidates will bring strong employee benefits knowledge, experience managing sophisticated accounts, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both clients and carrier partners. This opportunity offers exposure to a collaborative, team-based consulting environment where Account Managers play a highly visible role in client strategy and execution. Strong understanding of benefits administration, industry trends, and carrier products and services. Proven track record to lead client relationships and anticipate client needs. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective time management and decision-making skills.
Presentation and public speaking abilities. Diligent follow-up skills.
3+ years of experience in benefits account management or a related field. Preferably a bachelor's degree.

The base salary range for this position is $58,600 – $95,000.
The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
